We are seeking a IT Application Analyst to support and enhance our Project Controls and Project Management application landscape. This role is responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring and supporting enterprise applications, coordinating system integrations, and delivering technology solutions that enable successful project execution across the organization.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the implementation, enhancement, support, and lifecycle management of Omega365, while also supporting complementary project controls solutions such as Primavera P6 and Deltek Acumen Risk. This position will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project teams, integration partners, and technical teams to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions that drive operational excellence.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is accountable for the following:  

Business Analysis & Solution Delivery

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring solutions align with organizational goals and deliver measurable value.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process improvements, and system enhancements.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Omega365 Application Support & Configuration

  • Configure, maintain, and support Omega365 modules and related applications.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new functionality, enhancements, interfaces, and defect resolutions.
  • Support application upgrades, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Project Controls & EPC Data Management

  • Maintain a strong understanding of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project execution processes and associated data management practices.
  • Support project controls functions including planning, scheduling, cost management, progress measurement, and reporting.

Integration & Technical Collaboration

  • Collaborate with integration teams and third-party consultants to design and support integrations between Omega365, SAP, and other enterprise applications.
  • Contribute to solution architecture discussions, technology evaluations, and system integration strategies.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on best practices, scalability, and maintainability.

Quality Assurance & Testing

  • Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios for system enhancements and releases.
  • Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing to ensure solution quality.
  • Coordinate defect resolution activities and validate successful issue remediation.

Service Delivery & Operational Support

  • Provide ongoing application support, incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and support operational excellence objectives.
  • Participate in rotational on-call support as required.

Documentation & Training

  • Create and maintain solution documentation, functional specifications, process flows, and support procedures.
  • Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions for business users and support teams.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and documentation best practices across the application support organization.

Agile & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to Agile planning, sprint activities, backlog refinement, and release management processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve application performance, user adoption, business processes, and overall service delivery.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.

Experience

  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting, configuring, or implementing Omega365 solutions.
  • Experience working within enterprise application environments, preferably supporting project management, project controls, engineering, or EPC-related business processes.
  • Experience participating in software implementation and enhancement projects throughout the SDLC.

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of Omega365 configuration, administration, and support.
  • Experience with REST APIs, application integrations, and data exchange technologies.
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as Qlik Sense, DevExpress, or similar platforms.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Primavera P6, Deltek Acumen Risk, or other project controls applications.
  • Knowledge of SAP integrations and enterprise data management practices.
  • Understanding of Project Management, Construction Management, and Project Controls methodologies.
  • Experience within the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) industry.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management certification.
  • Agile, Scrum, or related certifications are a plus.
