About Our Internships
Tyndale Internships are designed for college students wanting to explore a career in the Christian Publishing industry. You will get to engage with other interns across various departments, attend training workshops, and participate in group projects designed to build professional skills.

- Internships will start in May 2027, and generally through the summer but can have flexible scheduling.
- The expected hourly range for this position is $17.50 per hour.
- The expected schedule is 40 hours per week on-site.
Bible Marketing and Social Media Intern
We are seeking a Bible Marketing and Social Media Intern for the summer of 2027 who is passionate about God’s Word and excited to use their creativity, communication, and organizational skills to help develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics, with a particular focus on social media.
As a member of the Bible marketing team, you will gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, marketing strategy, analytics, and the publishing industry. You will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, create content, research trends, support marketing campaigns, and learn how Bibles and Bible resources are marketed to today’s audiences.
The intern will support the Bible marketing team by researching social media trends, audiences, influencers, and best practices; developing engaging content and social media ideas; and helping create strategies that increase awareness and encourage engagement with the New Living Translation (NLT) and Tyndale Bible brands. The intern will also assist with a variety of marketing projects and initiatives alongside members of the Bible marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Social Media Content Creation: Develop creative and engaging social media content, including copy, graphics, short-form video concepts, and other content that communicates the NLT brand promise and increases awareness of Tyndale’s extensive line of Bibles and Bible resources.
- Content Ideation and Planning: Contribute ideas for social media campaigns, promotions, and content calendars that engage audiences and encourage interaction with Scripture and Bible resources.
- Engagement Strategies: Research and develop ideas to increase engagement, awareness, and usage of the NLT and Bibles in the NLT translation.
- Social Media Research: Research social media trends, platform features, emerging content formats, audience behaviors, and best practices. Compile findings and recommendations to help strengthen the team’s social media strategy.
- Influencer and Creator Research: Research social media influencers and content creators, evaluate audience alignment and engagement, and provide recommendations for potential influencer and creator strategies.
- Competitive Research: Monitor social media activity from other Bible publishers, ministries, authors, and relevant organizations to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor organic and paid social media performance, help compile results, and create reports or visualizations that communicate insights and recommendations to the marketing team.
- Community Engagement: Assist with monitoring social media channels and identifying opportunities to encourage meaningful engagement with followers and audiences.
- Marketing Team Support: Assist members of the Bible marketing team with additional marketing projects and initiatives as needed.
- Tools and Technology: Utilize and gain experience with marketing and social media tools such as Later, Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, HubSpot, and other marketing platforms.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, business, graphic design, or a related field.
- Strong creative writing and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Understanding of social media platforms, trends, and emerging content formats.
- Interest in social media marketing, content creation, and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Later, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and HubSpot is preferred; willingness to learn new tools is essential.
- Ability to conduct thorough research, identify insights, and communicate findings clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- A willingness to learn about Bible marketing, social media strategy, publishing, and the broader marketing industry.
- Personal alignment with and adherence to the Bible as God’s Word, and agreement with our Statement of Faith
