Structural Heart Interventional Cardiologist

Job Description:

The Cardiovascular Institute and the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is seeking candidates for a full-time academic faculty position in Interventional Cardiology to develop a consultative outpatient and procedural practice. 

The candidate must be trained in structural heart interventions and will serve as a clinical member of the structural heart section and will be expected to perform the full range of standard structural heart procedures.  The applicant is expected to be actively engaged in research as well as the teaching of fellows, residents and medical students.  All applicants must be board certified or eligible in Cardiology and Interventional cardiology, as well as have or be eligible for Commonwealth of Massachusetts medical licensure.

An academic teaching appointment at the level of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School (HMS), full or part-time, will be commensurate with experience.  This role is an employment model position in the Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. Pay Range:

$170,000 - $742,000

The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
