Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Warehouse Kitting Lead to join the Wilsonville, OR team!
The hourly rate for this position is $26 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive plan.
Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm

## Position Overview:
The Warehouse Kitting Lead oversees daily kitting operations to ensure materials are accurately staged, inventoried, and delivered to production in support of schedule and customer requirements. This role provides day-to-day leadership, training, and work direction to Material Handlers while serving as a hands-on contributor within warehouse operations. The Kitting Lead partners with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, and Receiving teams to prioritize work, resolve material issues, and maintain inventory accuracy. This position is responsible for promoting safety, quality, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement while supporting departmental performance goals.
In this function you will:
- Lead, coach, and develop the Kitting team to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate execution of daily operations.
- Coordinate labor resources, communicate priorities, lead Tier meetings, and resolve production interruptions and material shortages.
- Oversee kitting and inventory activities, ensuring material availability, inventory accuracy, and on-time support of production schedules.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Planning, Production, and warehouse teams to address operational and material flow challenges.
- Monitor performance metrics, maintain reporting accuracy, and leverage warehouse systems to support operational decision making.
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean, 5S, Kaizen, quality, and safety initiatives while supporting compliance and corrective actions.
- Perform hands-on warehouse responsibilities, operate certified equipment, and provide cross-functional support as required.
## Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, inventory, material handling, or production environment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience serving as a senior team member, trainer, mentor, lead, or informal leader.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating a forklift.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred:
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Logistics, or related field.
- 5 or more years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations.
- 1 or more years of experience leading or coordinating a warehouse, kitting, inventory, or logistics team.
- Experience with Kanban systems, inventory replenishment processes, and cycle counting programs.
- Experience with Vista, AS400, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.
- Forklift, Order Picker, and Indoor Crane certifications.
- Experience with using ERP, inventory management, or order management systems.
Position Criteria:
- Demonstrated proficiency in warehouse inventory control and material flow processes.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to analyze problems and make sound operational decisions.
- Ability to work overtime and support changing business priorities when required.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds individually and perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Experience with supporting performance metrics and KPI reporting.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Kaizen principles.
- Experience supporting employee training and development programs.

Work Environment
- Production facility environment with Personal Protective Equipment requirements including safety shoes, protective eyewear, and high visibility vest.
- Ability to lift 35lbs. per person and 70lbs. with a buddy lift; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
