Position Overview:
As a Student Grader for AQM1000: Foundation of Business Analytics, you will play a crucial role in supporting the faculty and ensuring the smooth operation of the course. This position offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of business analytics while contributing to the academic success of your peers.
Responsibilities:
Assessment of Assignments: Your primary responsibility will be to assess and grade assignments, quizzes, and exams submitted by students promptly and fairly. This includes evaluating the correctness of solutions, providing constructive feedback, and assigning grades according to the established rubrics.
Communication: Maintain effective communication with the course instructor, and students. Address student inquiries related to grading and assist in clarifying assignment requirements when necessary.
Record Keeping: Accurately record and maintain grading data, ensuring that grades are securely stored and confidentially handled. Assist in the timely submission of grades to the instructor.
Feedback Implementation: Collaborate with the course instructor to ensure that student feedback is appropriately integrated into the teaching process, helping to enhance the overall learning experience.
Assist in Course Preparation: Occasionally, you may be asked to assist in the preparation of course materials, including organizing assignments, distributing resources, or setting up online learning platforms.
