Description
We’re reinventing payments. In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.
Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year. But we’re just getting started.
Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.
The role
We are looking for a Workplace Experience Manager to lead our Workplace Experience team into an exciting new chapter. Over recent years, Dojo has expanded significantly across Europe, building an established portfolio of 8 offices across the UK, Ireland, Spain, Italy, and France. As our footprint matures, our focus is shifting from rapid expansion to operational refinement and site optimisation.
In this role, you will balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution. You will steer our team to drive operational excellence, champion an outstanding day-to-day employee experience, and create frictionless, high-performing workplace environments where our teams thrive. This role is based in our London office, with periodic travel across our European sites.
What you will do...
- Lead the team: Provide direct line management to a team of 4 across London, Bristol, and Madrid—setting priorities, unblocking workflows, and fostering high performance.
- Drive workplace strategy: Shape and execute a market-leading workplace experience strategy across all Dojo locations, balancing cultural impact with core business needs.
- Oversee portfolio operations: Ensure all offices run efficiently, safely, and reflect Dojo culture, while taking direct operational ownership of our Paris and Dublin sites.
- Manage budgets & vendors: Own the business-wide workplace budget, driving accurate forecasting, cost management, and vendor economies of scale.
- Cross-functional alignment: Partner with People Operations, IT, Security, Legal, and Finance to deliver seamless workplace initiatives and change management.
- Standardise resources: Build and maintain core workplace documentation and processes to ensure operational consistency across all European offices.
What you will bring...
- Proven leadership: Demonstrated experience leading distributed teams across multiple locations to achieve impactful results.
- Multi-site experience: Track record of managing workplace and facilities operations in a fast-paced environment across UK and European locations.
- Operational & financial acumen: Practical experience managing budgets, procurement, vendor relations, and facilities projects with a focus on efficiency and ROI.
- Stakeholder influence: Strong ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels to align priorities.
- Agility & problem-solving: Comfort navigating ambiguity, pivoting quickly as business needs shift, and delivering under pressure.
- Health & safety expertise: Solid knowledge of UK H&S regulations and risk assessment, with experience embedding safe, audit-ready working practices across multi-site environments.
Dojo home and away
We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.
That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.
With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.
Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?
If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.
If the following speak to you, let’s talk:
You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.
