Provide data, research and reporting support to the team, including sourcing of external information (news, industry insights, proposed legislative changes, competitors), strategic activities and data trends to assist with strategy and policy development.
Use data and research to provide insights and information to assist with industry changes and assess potential impacts.
Build a network of internal contacts to provide industry knowledge and insights for industry-focused presentations, industry reviews, and internal reporting documents.
Conduct research and update various information sources to ensure accuracy and relevance for both internal and external stakeholders as well as maintaining a compliant framework.
Your skills and experience:
Strong insights and research ability, including solid data and reporting capabilities and familiarity with AI toolkit.
Ability to collate, interpret, and explain data, moving beyond reporting to recommendation and insight.
Experience in a Strategy, Marketing, and/or Data and Analytics team, ideally in Financial Services.
Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including frontline distribution teams, risk, compliance and marketing, external industry bodies, and advisory firms.
Strong sense of time management and urgency, with a focus on outcomes.
Effective presentation building skills, including proficiency in MS suite.
A tertiary qualification in Strategy/Marketing, Business/Finance and/or Commerce would be highly regarded.
