As a Home Lending Executive based in Ballarat, you’ll help customers navigate some of their biggest financial decisions - from buying their first or next home through to refinancing and more complex lending needs.

This is a senior lending role with a strong focus on building your own business. You’ll develop deep relationships across our Ballarat branch and local community, creating a strong referral network and a consistent pipeline of home lending opportunities.

You’ll join our Customer Service Lending team in Ballarat, working closely with branch colleagues, specialist partners and customers across the local market.

As a Home Lending Executive, you’ll take ownership of your lending portfolio and build a strong presence within the community. You’ll be trusted to identify opportunities, develop referral relationships and guide customers through the lending journey from their first conversation through to settlement.

You’ll be encouraged to bring your experience, stay curious about the local market and continually look for ways to make the lending experience simpler and better for customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and converting your home lending pipeline through proactive business development

• Developing strong relationships and referral networks across the Ballarat community

• Leveraging branch relationships and internal partnerships to identify and maximise new opportunities

• Leading high-quality, needs-based lending conversations, including more complex lending scenarios

• Taking ownership of customer outcomes and guiding customers seamlessly through each stage of their lending journey

• Managing lending applications end-to-end with strong ownership and pace

• Developing and maintaining internal and external referral relationships

• Partnering closely with branch colleagues and specialist teams to deliver seamless customer outcomes

• Using customer and market insights to identify opportunities and continually improve the customer experience

• Ensuring applications meet credit policy, regulatory and responsible lending requirements

• Contributing your experience and knowledge to a collaborative, high-performing team

What we’re looking for

• Established home lending experience with a consistent track record of results

• Proven ability to build and convert a self-generated lending pipeline

• Strong business development and relationship-building capability

• Confidence managing lending applications and more complex scenarios end-to-end

• Strong understanding of credit, policy and responsible lending obligations

• Ability to build credibility and develop trusted networks within the local community

• Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities

• Ability to work at pace, manage multiple applications and prioritise effectively

• A collaborative mindset, openness to learning and the ability to positively contribute to a high-performing team
