Essential Responsibilities
As a full-time CCRP Technician, you'll become an integral member of a collaborative rehabilitation team, providing individualized care to patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, neurologic disease, sports injuries, and chronic mobility conditions.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with comprehensive rehabilitation treatment plans
- Operating underwater treadmill and therapeutic exercise programs
- Performing laser therapy and other rehabilitation modalities
- Monitoring patient progress and documenting outcomes
- Educating and partnering with clients throughout their pet's recovery
- Collaborating closely with veterinarians and the rehabilitation team to deliver exceptional patient care
Requirements/Qualifications
- Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) preferred
- Licensed/Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred (or equivalent rehabilitation experience)
- Strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques and patient handling
- Exceptional communication and client education skills
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for helping patients regain function and mobility
- Someone who thrives in a collaborative, learning-focused environment
- Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance
- Practices OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE
