Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive, patient- and family-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
- Assess patients, identify clinical priorities, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Deliver age- and developmentally appropriate care while addressing each patient’s physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and environmental needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate safe, effective patient care.
- Lead and support other assigned team members while promoting teamwork and a healthy work environment.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate timely interventions to improve outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education, health promotion, and emotional support.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic, healing environment while protecting patient privacy and dignity.
- Practice with accountability, autonomy, professional judgment, and strong critical-thinking skills.
- Participate in shared governance, peer review, professional development, and initiatives that promote clinical excellence.
- Apply care management principles to support the efficient delivery of high-quality patient care.

What You’ll Need
Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Licensure & Certifications
- Current South Carolina or compact-state Registered Nurse license required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.
