Job Advert: Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

We are looking for dedicated and experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCA) to join our team in the West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with a background in hospital or acute care to work flexible shifts across various settings.

• Days: Mondays - Sundays (including Bank Holidays)
• Hours: A range of shift patterns available, from 4-hour to 12-hour shifts to suit your availability
• Location: West Midlands
• Computer System: Adastra

Experience Required:

• Must have hospital/acute care experience
• A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is essential

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist nursing and clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care
• Provide personal care, monitor vital signs, and support patients with daily activities
• Assist in medical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Adastra system
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient outcomes

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum Level 3 in Health and Social Care
• Proven experience working in hospital or acute care settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
