What is the opportunity?
- Working as an AML Compliance Analyst in the Financial Crimes function at RBC you will help identify and manage AML risks, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, regulations, and industry standards.
- Interact with leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities.
- Network and build lasting relationships with students from diverse backgrounds from across Canada
What will you do?
- Maintaining and revising policies and procedures for the general operation of the compliance program and its related activities.
- Work alongside with AML Advisory and be responsible for analyzing Financial Crimes risks
- Work with various groups including business partners, AML internal partners to ensure a holistic approach to risk management.
- Proactively initiate discussions and solutions to new opportunities, challenges and approaches, and challenge status quo.
- Staying Updated - Stay on top of industry standards and emerging AML risk
- Analyze reports and provide a summary of findings – downstream activity
- Assist with program evolution as opportunities arise
- Training and Awareness - Contribute to training
- Work efficiently in an office-based location in downtown Toronto.

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Winter 2027 Student placement with a start date of January 2027, and end date of April 2027. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2027 ; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2027), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
