In this position, you’ll help implement Loss Prevention programs, carry out security, fire prevention, and life safety policies, and contribute to protecting people, assets, and operations. You’ll gain valuable experience in loss prevention and risk management while working with a collaborative team dedicated to operational excellence. This is a chance to create a significant impact in a fast-paced setting while building skills that support long-term career growth.

Why Work With Us?

  • We value integrity, respect, and teamwork, fostering an outstanding and inclusive culture where everyone can thrive.
  • Enjoy Associate discounts at our stores, available to you and eligible family members.
  • Receive immediate access to our comprehensive Group Benefits package, including a Health Care Spending Account, Retirement Savings Program, Associate & Family Assistance Program, and a variety of well-being resources.
  • Take advantage of a competitive vacation package, plus a Vacation Trade Program that allows you to opt in for an additional week of vacation.
  • Access comprehensive training and development resources developed to help you learn, grow, and succeed.
  • Explore exciting career advancement opportunities with tuition reimbursement to support your professional growth and career progression.
  • Benefit from additional perks, including shoe reimbursement, a self-serve beverage and snack station, and access to a Retirement Savings Program.
  • Receive company-provided equipment, including a cell phone, laptop, and tools, along with provincial security licensing training and annual licensing fee reimbursement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor store discrepancy reports, review trends, and support physical security programs by identifying risks and partnering with departments to improve operational controls and reduce shrink.
  • Perform compliance audits to evaluate operational processes, identify exceptions, and mitigating risks that could result in inventory shrinkage or financial loss.
  • Maintain security operations by ensuring CCTV systems are fully operational, supporting contract security staff, and advancing issues to Loss Prevention management as needed.
  • Conduct facility patrols, including parking lots, and respond appropriately to medical, fire, security, and other emergency situations.
  • Support investigations and compliance activities by detailing incidents, processing damaged merchandise, conducting audits, and helping identify operational or inventory concerns.
  • Promote a safe and secure workplace by supporting loss prevention and fire awareness programs, delivering associate training, and conducting regular walk-throughs to ensure operational processes are being followed.

About You:

  • Minimum one year of Loss Prevention (LP) or Distribution Centre Loss Prevention experience, with a proven understanding of security and shrink reduction practices.
  • Post-secondary education in Law and Security or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Valid provincial security license required prior to employment, with the ability to maintain licensing as required by applicable legislation.
  • Knowledge of loss prevention and security systems, including CCTV, fire and intrusion alarms, along with current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, flexibility to support business needs, a high level of integrity and confidentiality, and the ability to successfully complete a comprehensive background check.
