Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus
The CT Technologist operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols. This role provides direct and indirect patient care to ensure the safe, efficient, and successful completion of imaging procedures. The CT Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT/Computed Tomography equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures
- Follow established imaging protocols and physician orders
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures
- Provide direct and indirect patient care to ensure successful completion of examinations
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and departmental standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Perform equipment checks and report any technical issues as appropriate
Required Qualifications:
- ARRT Radiography (ARRT) certification
- State License as a Certified Radiological Technologist
- CT certification through NMTCB required within 12 months of hire
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and protocols
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
