The Opportunity:
8-month placement, starting September 2026
How You Will Contribute:
This co-op opportunity offers exposure to electro-optical mechanical design, documentation, and database management across a portfolio of networking platforms. The role contributes to the development and documentation of leading edge circuit packs and optical plugs while gaining experience with engineering design processes and prototype evaluation.
Develop mechanical design solutions for circuit packs and optical plugs incorporating current technologies in physically dense and thermally constrained environments
Create mechanical part and assembly designs and drawings
Evaluate first samples and build prototype assemblies
Manage and maintain 3D printer equipment
Maintain engineering databases
The Must Haves:
Education: Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering,
3D design tool experience, preferably Creo or Solidworks
Strong analytical and design skills
Nice to haves:

Pay Range: The hourly rate for this position is $25.50-$35.00/hour
