The Commodity Site Leader (CSL) leads sourcing activities for assigned categories at the site and is accountable for supplier performance, capacity readiness, cost competitiveness, lead time, and execution support. This high-visibility role connects Global Commodity Teams, Buyers, MPR planners, and plant stakeholders to align sourcing priorities, improve material flow, and deliver value for internal and external customers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Own the site sourcing strategy for assigned commodities, translating business priorities into clear supply plans that improve SQDC and cash performance.
• Drive supplier selection, qualification, negotiations, and awards to strengthen cost competitiveness, lead time, and supply continuity.
• Proactively manage supplier capacity, capability, and readiness to support stable material flow, production demand, new part introductions, repair needs, and future growth.
• Lead No Source Parts Management process and sourcing standard work with urgency, including RFQs, qualifications, gap resolution, and timely stakeholder updates.
• Partner cross-functionally with Buyers, Global Commodity Teams, MPR planners, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and external suppliers to align priorities and remove roadblocks.
• Monitor supplier performance, own category KPIs, benchmark key suppliers, lead corrective actions, and use Lean, daily management, and QDIP routines to drive continuous improvement.
• Leverage data, digital tools, and GenAI-enabled solutions to uncover SQDC opportunities, improve visibility, and accelerate decision-making.
• Ensure procurement master data is clean, accurate, and up to date across price, lead time, and payment terms to support reliable planning, execution, and supplier performance management.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's (in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering), or a related field experience, but we are most interested in your total capability and professional achievements.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• 5 to 8 years experience in developing sourcing strategies and negotiating supplier contracts.
• Working knowledge of legal and commercial contract terms.

• ERP (SAP) and Ariba interface experience

The base pay range for this position is $108,800 to 181,300 USD Annual.  The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. ​

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $108,800.00 and $181,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
