A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Expert, Enterprise Semantics and Knowledge Graph reporting to General Manager of Data Science & Delivery in the Chief Data Office.

 

A bit about your role

This role is responsible for leading nbn’s enterprise semantic data and knowledge capability, developing the strategy, standards, governance and frameworks that underpin AI-ready data. Working across business and technology teams, the role will drive the adoption of ontologies, mature the Enterprise Knowledge Graph, establish semantic governance, and enable business domains to manage semantic assets. The position plays a key role in supporting trustworthy AI, intelligent automation and data-driven decision-making by creating a shared understanding of nbn’s core business entities, processes, products, networks and customers.

 

A bit about you

The ideal candidate will have expertise in enterprise knowledge graphs, ontology engineering, semantic technologies, knowledge representation, information and data architecture, metadata and master data management, knowledge management, digital twins, and AI-ready data architectures. They will bring strong stakeholder engagement skills, experience working across both business and technology teams, and a proven ability to operate within enterprise-scale governance environments. Success in the role will be demonstrated by establishing sustainable semantic governance, enabling business-owned semantic assets, increasing reuse of enterprise concepts, improving AI explainability and traceability, embedding semantic capabilities into strategic initiatives, and delivering measurable business outcomes through the Enterprise Knowledge Graph.
