Hiring Salary Range: $89,000 - $133,500

PURPOSE: Provides planning, coordination, documentation, and process support for cross-functional growth initiatives, primarily Dairyland’s large-load interconnection process and related activities. Maintains schedules, meeting cadences, portfolio visibility, records, action items, and communication channels to help work move efficiently from intake through decision, handoff, or closure. This role supports process consistency and follow-through; functional departments retain technical ownership, resource decisions, approvals, and overall project-management accountability.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate and maintain the planning process for large-load opportunities and related strategic initiatives from intake through decision, implementation handoff, withdrawal, or closure.
- Maintain portfolio visibility, including stages, schedules, milestones, responsible parties, dependencies, decision needs, commitments, and next actions.
- Coordinate cross-functional participation across impacted departments while preserving functional ownership, technical authority, resource accountability, and decision rights.
- Establish meeting cadences, prepare agendas, facilitate working sessions, document decisions, assign action items, follow up on commitments and unresolved issues, and prepare report out documents.
- Identify schedule slippage, resource conflicts, data gaps, unresolved dependencies, decision needs, and potential risks; work with functional owners to clarify status and elevate unresolved items through the Manager when needed.
- Serve as coordination-process steward for Large Power Solutions project data in SalesHub CRM, including stage definitions, documentation expectations, data quality, and routine reviews.
- Summarize CRM and portfolio data to highlight trends, aging items, milestone performance, forecasted load, bottlenecks, and risks for leader review and planning discussions.
- Coordinate special economic-development processes and other high-priority requests requiring cross-functional review, documentation, status tracking, and communication of approved outcomes.
- Document decisions, assumptions, requirements, commitments, process changes, closeout status, lessons learned, and relevant project information to retain organizational knowledge.
- Recommend improvements to the coordination system as Dairyland’s growth strategy, project portfolio, and organizational needs evolve.
- Actively participate as a member of the Community and Economic Development team, modeling safety, excellence, accuracy, collaboration, and efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
- Clear, repeatable large-load coordination process with defined stages, deliverables, handoffs, and decision points.
- Accurate portfolio visibility for leadership.
- Timely identification and elevation of blocked work, resource conflicts, unresolved decisions, and milestone risks through the appropriate functional owner or Manager.
- Clear visibility to cross-functional commitments, with fewer dropped handoffs, duplicated efforts, and avoidable delays.
- Consistent documentation of decisions, assumptions, requirements, and process changes.
- Scalable planning and coordination support that helps Dairyland manage growth activities without shifting technical or project-management accountability from functional areas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations, analytics, public administration, engineering technology, project coordination, or related field. Minimum five (5) years of experience in project coordination, program administration, process coordination, business operations, or comparable cross-functional work. Electric utility, energy, infrastructure, economic development, Dynamics 365/SalesHub, Power BI, process-improvement, or formal project-management exposure is preferred. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organization, follow-through, planning, and project-coordination skills.
- Ability to coordinate work across departments, follow up on commitments, and communicate status without direct authority over functional resources.
- Ability to establish processes, schedules, milestones, documentation, and escalation mechanisms.
- Strong facilitation, communication, attention to detail, analytical, and decision-support skills.
