About The Job
• You will play an active role in the Control Tower Direct Load Europe
• Providing support to customers and partners in the field of land transport
• Coordinating transport management between customers and Hellmann branches across Europe
• Recording and processing shipments and orders as the central point of contact between customers and the dispatch units
• Communicating with customers and partner companies
• Proactive monitoring and reporting of consignments
• Receiving and processing customer orders, enquiries and complaints
• Checking, processing and posting incoming and outgoing invoices
• Timely invoicing of customer orders and transport services
About You
• Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship, e.g. as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), ideally with some initial professional experience in land transport
• Some initial professional experience in billing and customer service would be an advantage
• A structured approach to work, strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Confident and professional communication skills in German and English when dealing with customers and partner companies
• Good command of German, as well as good written and spoken English; knowledge of other languages would be an advantage
• Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail and a keen business acumen
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook, and ideally working knowledge of standard freight forwarding software
