About our property:
Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is nestled high atop the majestic San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 5,174’. This Resort is surrounded by an ocean of Ponderosa Pines and gives guests exclusive access to Lake Arrowhead, a reservoir with a surface area of 780 acres. Lake Arrowhead is the perfect location for outdoor adventure enthusiasts and offers a variety of summertime and wintertime activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ziplining, and more. Position Summary
Lake Arrowhead Resort Spa of the Pines is seeking a talented, passionate, and guest-focused Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage and body treatments while creating personalized, memorable experiences that promote relaxation, healing, and overall wellness. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering outstanding service, building lasting guest relationships, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and care.
What You'll Do
Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences
Provide massage and body treatments in accordance with Spa of the Pines protocols and service standards.
Design customized treatment sessions based on guest consultations, individual needs, and wellness goals.
Assess guests for contraindications and determine appropriate treatments to ensure safety and comfort.
Create a welcoming, relaxing, and personalized experience for every guest from arrival through departure.
Maintain treatment schedules and begin and end all services on time.
Promote Wellness and Build Relationships
Educate guests on the health and wellness benefits of regular massage therapy.
Recommend retail products and complementary spa services that support guests' wellness goals.
Build and maintain a loyal client base while actively cultivating new guest relationships.
Create lasting impressions through professional, friendly, and attentive service.
Maintain Professional Excellence
Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and work areas are clean, sanitized, and maintained according to spa standards and health regulations.
Maintain accurate guest records and treatment notes in accordance with spa procedures.
Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Stay current with all required professional licenses, certifications, and liability insurance.
Follow all spa policies, procedures, and guest service standards.

What are we looking for?
Qualifications
- Current Massage Therapy License in the State of California.
- Previous massage therapy experience in a spa, resort, wellness, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, massage techniques, and wellness practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide customized treatments based on guest needs.
- Retail sales and client retention experience preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
