Role: Project Manager - HVAC IR (Industrial Refrigeration)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - HVAC IR to lead the execution and delivery of Industrial Refrigeration and HVAC projects. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end project management, including planning, execution, stakeholder management, cost control, resource allocation, quality assurance, and timely project completion while ensuring compliance with safety standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete project lifecycle for Industrial Refrigeration (IR) and HVAC projects from kickoff to commissioning and handover.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource deployment strategies.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders for seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure adherence to project budget, profitability targets, and contractual obligations.
- Lead site execution teams and supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and system handover activities.
- Manage procurement coordination, material planning, and vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with EHS standards, quality procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress reports to management and customers.
- Handle change orders, claim management, billing, collections, and project documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- PMP/Prince2 certification will be an added advantage.
- 10-15 years of experience in HVAC and Industrial Refrigeration project execution.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, chilled water systems, ammonia refrigeration, cold storage applications, and HVAC installations.
- Experience in managing large industrial, manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical, cold chain, or warehouse projects.
- Proficiency in project planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
