As a Medical Operations Virtual Meeting Moderator at ICON, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in virtual meeting technologies, with primary expertise in Microsoft Teams, related databases, and team collaboration (SharePoint) sites. This role is responsible for coordinating meeting logistics, conducting technology readiness checks, providing guidance on platform capabilities and best practices, and ensuring that all stakeholders and presenters are fully prepared regarding meeting requirements, timelines, arrival expectations, and technical considerations. The overall objective is to deliver a professional, efficient, and uninterrupted meeting experience while maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
What You Will Do:
You will take responsibility for scientific operations deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of clinical trials.
The individual will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in virtual meeting technologies, with primary expertise in Microsoft Teams, related databases, and team collaboration (SharePoint) sites.
Responsible for coordinating meeting logistics, conducting technology readiness checks, providing guidance on platform capabilities and best practices, and ensuring that all stakeholders and presenters are fully prepared regarding meeting requirements, timelines, arrival expectations, and technical considerations.
The overall objective is to deliver a professional, efficient, and uninterrupted meeting experience while maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
Your Profile:
Required qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint, with the ability to leverage these tools to support operational excellence, project execution, and effective collaboration.
Demonstrated expertise in project management, including exceptional written and verbal communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement, and resource management.
Results-driven, deadline-oriented self-starter with a proven ability to proactively engage cross-functional teams, drive accountability, and ensure project timelines are consistently achieved.
Experience facilitating/Moderating Virtual Global Meetings.
Experience setting up MS Teams from start to finish - Required.
Subject Matter Expert in using MS Teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
