Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Access Point Driver in Braselton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and may drive as part of assigned duties. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to designated areas.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building entrances, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Document observations, incidents, and access-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
