Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Commercial HVAC Mechanics for projects located in or around Ogden, UT. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-$36/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Install and maintain commercial HVAC/mechanical equipment and ductwork
- Work on large commercial mechanical projects, including boiler retrofits/upgrades and refrigerated storage facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical schematics
- Coordinate with structural and other trades to prevent clashes and maintain project sequencing.
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems and field issues
- Lead and train crew members as needed
- Communicate with contractors, project managers, and other trades.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and productive jobsite
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial mechanical/HVAC experience
- Experience with large-scale commercial projects
- Strong blueprint and mechanical schematic reading skills
- Structural framing/building experience preferred
- Ability to anticipate problems and work independently
- Proven ability to lead crews and manage assigned scope with minimal supervision
