Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking Phlebotomist to deliver the best possible medical care in LRH’s patient-focused setting.
SUMMARY:
Staff member of the laboratory department who collects specimens from inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients. Position involves phlebotomy/blood drawing for patient treatment; prior experience in phlebotomy is preferred. Performs clerical duties of completing and ordering laboratory requests, answers the phone, and compiles statistical data. Performs waived status laboratory testing as directed by Director of Laboratory.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent required. One year experience in hospital or medical setting preferred, experience in phlebotomy preferred.
CNA or EMT skills are not required but welcomed to apply.
