## This role in summary
Our Greenville facility is hiring a Production Scheduler to lead strategic and tactical manufacturing coordination.
Key Responsibilities & Goals:
- Create master schedules aligning sales forecasts with floor-level execution.
- Optimize lead times, equipment utilization, and staffing resources.
- Use data analysis and agile problem-solving to ensure 100% on-time delivery.

## Your responsibilities will include
- Integrated Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain the strategic Master Production Schedule (MPS) for the entire facility based on sales forecasts and customer orders. Create detailed operational schedules for departmental areas, such as three-shift Pressroom operations and the daily Machine Shop Required to Run (RTR) File. Responsible for sequence assembly production. Coordinate the assembly schedule with Paint, Machine Shop and Materials departments, making changes to production schedule as needed. Maintain clear communication with process partners on all areas of scheduling and production, including upcoming changes and expectations.
- Capacity & Resource Allocation: Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data. Perform calculations to determine exact requirements for machinery, tooling, equipment, and labor. Translate complex orders into a sequential, actionable work schedule for each department. Calculate DTC/Actualization metrics.
- Tooling, Maintenance & Repair Management: Develop, track, and manage preventative maintenance (PM) schedules for dies, tooling, and machinery in collaboration with the Tool Room and Maintenance teams. Coordinate directly with the Tool Room to plan, organize, schedule, and prioritize tooling/die repair work orders, tracking them from initiation through completion.
- Procurement, Inventory, and Expediting: Prepare material lists and purchase orders for all required raw materials, tools, hand tools, and pressroom supplies. Expedite the procurement of critical tooling and die repair components to minimize downtime. Manage tooling inventory, including organizing, evaluating part requirements, and coordinating procurement requests.
- Operational Optimization & Reporting: Proactively address and resolve operational delays, altering plans to accommodate unforeseen conditions (e.g., machine breakdowns). Monitor Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) data, manage systems like SAP Operator PMs and Set-up PMs, and generate detailed production reports. Coordinate and schedule production operations with external sub-contractors (e.g., plating, heat-treating). Develop, coordinate, and track training programs in the pressroom. Manage the input and accuracy of data in scheduling systems.
## Minimum requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-4 years of material management experience
- Working knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain concepts, vendor management, and parts flow.
- Proficiency with computer-based software and scheduling tools, including SAP, MRP, EDI, ASN, MPS, WMCS, APS, Excel, and Google Suite.
- Understanding of lean concepts and basic change management methodology.
## Preferred skills and experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of material flow related to production requirements planning.
- Sound judgment, planning, and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with outstanding people skills and the ability to lead teams to drive exceptional results.
- Experience using logic and problem-solving tools to develop plans, prioritize tasks, and look forward proactively.
- Self-motivation and resourcefulness in identifying, analyzing, and finding solutions to flow issues.

### Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods while performing data analysis and scheduling.
- Ability to frequently walk the manufacturing floor, pressroom, and tool room to coordinate schedules, track work orders, and expedite materials.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds (e.g., tools, inventory, parts).
- Sufficient visual acuity to read computer screens, blueprints, and detailed work orders.
- The work environment includes exposure to typical manufacturing hazards such as noise, moving mechanical parts, and elevated temperatures, requiring the use of standard personal protective equipment (PPE).
