Unit Receptionist - (Day/PM) Intensive Care Nursery

Job Description:

Under the leadership of the department director, administrative supervisor, assistant director, charge nurse, and direct supervision of a registered nurse, the unit receptionist is responsible for performing clerical and receptionist duties related to the IICN. Must be detail oriented, organized, have exceptional phone etiquette, communication skills, be able to multi-task and work in a busy demanding work environment. Critical thinking skills are essential.

Experience

Prior unit receptionist experience strongly preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education

High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in related field.

Licensure/Certifications

American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required.

Assigned Work Hours:

1.0 FTE (Full time) variable, 8-hours, Day (0700-1530) or PM (1500-2330)

Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience):

$31.01

to

$41.50

The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.

Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $2.01

Hourly Night Shift Differential: $2.95
