Role summary:
The Manager, Advanced Analytics leads a team to deliver data-driven insights that support strategic business objectives. This role partners with leadership to identify key challenges, develop analytical models, and provide actionable recommendations that drive business value. Responsible for managing complex projects and fostering collaboration across functions, the position ensures effective implementation of advanced analytics solutions. The manager also mentors team members, promotes continuous learning, and upholds high standards of integrity and accountability to support Walmart’s mission and operational excellence.
About the team:
Our team leads the Insights & Recommendations portfolio for Walmart Marketplace, enabling sellers to understand their business, identify opportunities, and take informed actions to grow. We develop seller-facing products and programs across reporting, listing quality, personalized recommendations, and advertising with Walmart Connect. Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Operations, and commercial teams, we set strategy and deliver scalable solutions that enhance seller performance. Our work drives Marketplace growth by connecting data insights to actionable outcomes, supporting seller engagement, gross merchandise volume, and monetization.
What you'll do:

• Collaborate with leadership and business partners to identify key challenges and develop analytics-driven hypotheses and research plans.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced data models and algorithms to support business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end project workstreams, including prototype development, testing, and validation of analytics solutions.
• Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to inform functional initiatives and decision-making.
• Partner cross-functionally to deliver consultative analytics solutions aligned with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver end-to-end analytics solutions.
• Effective stakeholder management and collaboration with cross-functional teams and business partners.
• Proficiency in data collection, visualization, and analysis to identify actionable insights.
• Accountability for achieving business objectives while maintaining high ethical standards.
• Experience developing and implementing innovative analytics models and prototypes.

Sunnyvale, California US-11789: The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $202,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
