Description
Your key responsibilities
- Lead our ‘learning through play’ ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair, planning exciting experiences that challenge and inspire every child.
- Be a leader in education, demonstrating high-quality teaching through N-inspired strategies.
- Work with managers to develop nursery education and deliver actions from the Self-Evaluation form.
- Plan and deliver high-quality observations, assessments, and support for all children, including specialist support plans with the SENCO.
- Follow our daily routine and ensure smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and keep them involved in their children’s learning.
- Embed and role-model all policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behavioural safety.
- Stay up to date with Early Years research, bringing fresh ideas to improve children’s learning.
- Support nursery life with flexibility and positivity to keep everything running smoothly.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (ideally as a nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, apprentice, or early years educator).
- Full and relevant Early Years teacher qualification (EYT or QTS).
- Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a commitment to remain compliant.
- Relevant safeguarding/child protection training and be willing to update that training regularly.
- A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children.
