As part of the development of its APAC business, and overall global growth, Cundall are excited to announce that we are entering into the Malaysian market in Kuala Lumpur. Cundall have been working on various projects in Malaysia from our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia so this is the natural progression for the business, building on long standing relationships and offering the same high standard of multidisciplinary design and consultancy services.

Our Malaysia office will enhance our regional presence in Asia, taking on exciting projects locally while also collaborating closely with our regional offices to provide seamless support.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client focused Mechanical Engineer to join our Pioneer team in Malaysia,to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects locally and regionally.

 

Working across a variety of sectors such as Data Centres, Hotel and Hospitality, Commercial and Retail, you will work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects. You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop.

The Skills

Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng), and having gained experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a building services context (Ventilation, cooling and air conditioning, heating systems, etc), you are already well versed in relevant design software. Experience in data centers or critical systems will be highly regarded.

 

You have proven ability in producing low energy, creative design solutions, preparing specifications and project reports, carrying out site inspections and surveys, and detail design development and crucially – you have a passion for creative and intuitive design.

  

Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
