Description
Location: Miami, FL Area
Position: Working Site Supervisor
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Directly supervise, mentor, and support a team of seven (7) security officers.
- Lead by example while serving as a working supervisor and performing security duties as needed.
- Conduct daily shift briefings and ensure officers understand post orders, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor officer performance and provide coaching, training, and corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure all posts are staffed appropriately and maintain adequate coverage during scheduled shifts.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new security personnel as assigned.
- Maintain open communication with management, HOA representatives, residents, and staff.
- Oversee gatehouse operations and ensure proper visitor management procedures are followed.
- Conduct and supervise rover patrol operations throughout the community.
- Ensure compliance with all security protocols, post orders, and client requirements.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, resident concerns, and operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and security concerns.
- Prepare and review daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Monitor access control systems, surveillance equipment, and community security measures.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and property management when necessary.
- Develop and manage officer schedules and staffing assignments.
- Address call-offs, shift vacancies, and staffing challenges.
- Ensure accurate timekeeping and attendance records.
- Maintain operational reports and submit required documentation to management.
- Participate in client meetings and provide operational updates when requested.
- Ensure all company and client policies are consistently enforced.
- Minimum of four (4) years of security supervisory experience.
- Previous HOA/community security experience required.
- Active Florida Class "D" Security Officer License.
- Clean driving record required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience managing schedules, staffing, and personnel performance.
- Strong knowledge of gatehouse operations and access control procedures.
- Experience conducting and supervising rover patrol operations.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Strong computer skills and report-writing abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Exceptional customer service and resident relations experience.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

- Must be available Wednesday through Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
- Must be available 24/7 and on call for emergency situations and operational needs.
- Must be willing to respond to urgent staffing or security-related issues outside of scheduled hours when necessary.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Ability to perform indoor and outdoor duties in various weather conditions.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively during emergencies.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment as required by the position.
- Competitive pay rate of $23.00 per hour.
