Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you'll escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations, enter medical histories and current medications, assist physicians/providers with note documentation, and support various procedures including biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic treatments. Your responsibilities also include preparing and collecting lab specimens, notifying patients of results, scheduling follow-ups, maintaining exam rooms, and performing laboratory maintenance including instrument cleaning and autoclaving. This role requires 2-3 years of medical office experience, with dermatology and cosmetic experience preferred. You must be professional, compassionate, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
