Modeler - Construction Modeling

Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented Modeler to apply constructability and detailing principles in developing accurate construction models and shop drawings. The role involves collaborating with project teams to ensure high-quality execution, address constructability challenges, and support efficient project delivery. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Interpret design drawings, specifications, and applicable codes/standards 

• Develop and maintain accurate Tekla models and connections aligned with design intent 

• Perform model constructability reviews

• Collaborate with design teams and contractors to develop engineering solutions

• Create shop drawings and Erection Sheets

• Develop custom reports and drawing templates as needed 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field required 
• 7+ minimum prior years experience with 5+ prior years experience in Tekla steel detailing on complex projects. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication 
• Demonstrated career growth that includes experience working with design teams for a variety of building or project types 
• Strong client-service attitude with ability to multi-task and accomplish multiple priorities 
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
