The Division of Life Science at HKUST is seeking a self-motivated individual to fill the position of Assistant Manager. The appointee will be a part of the administrative team and will be responsible for supporting the academic programs in the Division.

The appointee will be responsible for supporting the following key areas:

• Student engagement and activities: serve as the coordinator for internal and external events related to students’ activities;

• Curriculum support: assist the curriculum implementation, including quality assurance;

• Administrative and ad-hoc support: Supervise supporting staff and coordinate administrative functions for the Division’s academic programs.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of administrative experience. The ideal candidate should be a good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. Knowledge of generative AI workplace productivity tools is a plus.

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits will be provided, including annual leave and medical and dental benefits.  A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of the contract. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
