The DPM will play a key leadership role in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, supporting client communication, and ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to established quality standards.

This individual will work closely with senior project managers and area leadership to support project execution for clients such as transit agencies, departments of transportation, and regional rail authorities.

  • Participate in project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Assist with risk identification, mitigation strategies, and issue resolution.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain clear communication with clients, subconsultants, and internal project partners.
  • Support the PM in preparation of presentations, status reports, and client updates.
  • Build positive working relationships with external stakeholders, including agencies, municipalities, and contractors.

Document & Quality Management

  • Ensure that deliverables meet STV’s quality standards and contract requirements.
  • Support document control, design review coordination, and adherence to QA/QC procedures.

Business Development Support

  • Assist with proposal inputs, resumes, project descriptions, and other pursuit materials.
  • Support market sector leaders and PMs on strategy, scoping, and level-of-effort estimating.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in bridge, roadway, rail/transit, or transportation infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with design and/or construction processes for infrastructure, bridges, culverts, track or related disciplines.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel for site visits as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe.
  • Experience supporting rail/transit agencies.
  • Experience with project controls, scheduling software (e.g., P6), or financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks independently with limited supervision.

  • Engagement on high-profile public infrastructure projects that improve regional mobility.
