Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse – Immunizations (IBT)
Reid Medical Clinic | Lackland AFB – San Antonio, TX | Potential Opportunity
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to support the Immunization Clinic at Reid Medical Clinic.
Join a dedicated nursing team providing essential immunization services that protect the health and readiness of military trainees.
Position Highlights
Monday–Friday schedule
No nights, weekends, or federal holidays
Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits
Paid time off and sick leave
Position Requirements
U.S. Citizenship
Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program or qualifying military training
Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license meeting Texas requirements
1 year of nursing experience within the last 2 years
Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross; hands-on training)
Immunization Back-up Technician (IBT) certification
Key Responsibilities
Administer immunizations and prescribed medications
Review patient health histories and vaccination records
Monitor patients and respond to adverse reactions
Educate military trainees on immunizations and preventive care
