POSITION SUMMARY:
The Tractor Driver safely and effectively transport boats to and from production while maintaining organization in the finished goods fields. This role moves completed boats from production to finished goods field and boats needing to be finished from finished goods field to production.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs daily safety inspections on equipment.
- Reports any faults or safety concerns to safety manager.
- Operates equipment safely and effectively.
- Uses equipment to transport boats to and from production and finished goods field (this function runs in harsh weather at times; rain, snow, etc.)
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ongoing verification of driving eligibility will be conducted to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent health and safety knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of a tractor.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
