  • Assist with project accounting activities, including job setup, journal entries, accruals, billings, and financial analysis.
  • Monitor project performance through analysis of revenue, costs, gross margin, backlog, cash flow, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
  • Analyze working capital performance, including accounts receivable, collections, billings, and project cash flow forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, reporting enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
  • Support ERP, reporting, and finance transformation initiatives that improve data quality, automation, and business performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • 3-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), operational finance, project finance, accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling, forecasting, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and reporting tools such as Power BI, SAP, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Experience supporting project-based operations and project financial management, including work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, estimate-at-completion (EAC) forecasting, cost-to-complete analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial and operational data into meaningful business insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across Finance, Operations, Project Controls, and other business functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
