Consultant Neonatologist (Arabic-Speaking) - Sharjah

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Neonatologist who speaks Arabic to join a reputable healthcare facility in Sharjah, UAE. The successful candidate will provide expert medical care to newborns, including premature and critically ill infants, ensuring high standards of neonatal care and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care for newborns, premature infants, and critically ill neonates.
• Manage neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients, including infants with complex medical conditions.
• Diagnose and treat neonatal respiratory distress, infections, congenital conditions, and other neonatal complications.
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and other essential neonatal procedures.
• Collaborate with paediatricians, obstetricians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Counsel parents and families regarding neonatal conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and clinical guidelines.

Requirements

• Recognized specialist qualification in Neonatology.
• Valid UAE medical licence or eligibility for licensing as a Consultant Neonatologist with the relevant authority.
• Substantial clinical experience in neonatal care and NICU management.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
• Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine, patient safety, and quality improvement.
