This model will strengthen accountability and cross-functional collaboration, enabling faster, more predictable delivery, improved customer outcomes, and sustainable growth.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global quoting organization for Steam Services Parts VS, with accountability for quote quality, responsiveness, pricing accuracy, lead time accuracy and overall quoting performance across segments and regions.
  • Own and continuously improve the end-to-end customer quoting process, including extension of parts to plants in RPDM, contract setup, and customer quote preparation.
  • Optimize contract configuration to support commercial effectiveness and execution reliability, including timing, incoterms, consolidation, dispatch logic, and price application.
  • Drive standardization, simplification, and productivity across the quoting model to improve scalability, consistency, and customer responsiveness.
  • Lead the transformation of the organization from quote administration to stronger commercial specialization and cost/lead time expertise.
  • Advance the shift from manual activities to a more system-enabled model with stronger process logic, architecture, and automation.
  • Partner across Commercial, Supply Management, Finance, Digital/IT, and operational teams to ensure quoting practices support business priorities, customer needs, and downstream execution.
  • Drive closed-loop feedback from order execution, supply constraints, and fulfillment performance into quoting logic, quote assumptions, and process improvements.
  • Build organizational capability through team leaders, with focus on performance management, talent development, coaching, and sustained transformation delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Significant leadership experience in a global commercial, operations, sourcing, or customer support environment.
  • Proven success leading leaders and managing multi-level teams in a complex global matrix, including strong team development and coaching capability.
  • Demonstrated lean, AI, and transformation experience, with a track record of process redesign, simplification, automation, and system-enabled operating model change.
  • Deep understanding of Steam Services operational processes, customer requirements, and market dynamics.
  • Strong working knowledge of Steam Services tools, including OSERP and NEX.
  • Deep experience in quotation, pricing, contract setup, order/process management, or adjacent commercial operations disciplines.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience across Commercial, Finance, Operations, Supply Management, and Digital/IT.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to connect cost, pricing, lead time, process, and customer requirements into practical decisions.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong enterprise leader who combines operational rigor with a transformation mindset.
  • Commercially oriented and able to elevate teams from transactional support to value-added decision support.
  • High judgment in balancing customer responsiveness, risk management, margin discipline, and execution feasibility.
  • Skilled at building standard work, process governance, and scalable global operating rhythms.
  • Comfortable leading through ambiguity and driving change across legacy processes and systems.
  • Strong communicator with executive presence and the ability to influence across regions, functions, and levels.
  • Talent developer who builds expert teams in commercial specialization, cost expertise, and systems/process logic.
  • Independent, accountable, and outcome-focused.
