Description
Toki Bistro & Bar is a modern bistro and bar at 100 Miller St, North Sydney, running lunch and dinner Tuesday to Sunday plus a steady calendar of private dining and functions. We’re a tight team that cares about calm, organised service and looking after our regulars properly.
We’re hiring for two front-of-house roles and you’re welcome to apply for either or both.
Senior Food & Beverage Attendant: you’ll run a section through lunch and dinner service, take orders, run food and drinks, handle bar service when needed and help set and reset the floor for functions. You know the menu, you read a table, and you don’t need to be told twice.
Food & Beverage Supervisor: everything above, plus you open or close the venue, lead the floor on shift, brief the team, manage bookings and walk-ins through service, handle guest issues on the spot and report back to the Restaurant Manager at the end of the night.
Ideal candidate: 3 or more years in a restaurant or bar in Australia, confident on a busy floor, good with people and solid on wine and cocktail basics. Barista skills are a plus and open up more hours on the roster.
Hours are casual to start, with around 15-20 hours a week across lunch and weekend services for the attendant role and more for the right supervisor (30 hours +). Shifts are mostly Thursday to Sunday, with weekday lunches available. Immediate start.
