Head of Engineering
Remote (US) | Up to $300k + tokens/equity
Plexus is working with a fast-growing company in the RWA space, building blockchain infrastructure that brings traditional financial assets onchain. Their platform enables institutions and investors to access tokenized financial products, with a focus on making traditionally complex asset classes more accessible through blockchain technology.
They’re looking for a Head of Engineering to lead the technical direction of the business, oversee platform architecture and security, and build a high-performing engineering team as the company scales.
The Role

Own the overall engineering strategy and technical direction of the platform.

Oversee the development of secure, scalable smart contracts and supporting infrastructure.

Set engineering standards around security, reliability and code quality.

Lead, hire and mentor engineers across smart contracts, backend and infrastructure.

Work closely with the wider business to shape the product roadmap and support future growth.
Requirements

7+ years of engineering experience, including technical leadership or team management.

Strong experience building and scaling production blockchain or DeFi products.

Solid understanding of smart contract security and the challenges of building financial products onchain.

Broad technical knowledge across smart contracts, backend systems and infrastructure.

Comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environment and building out an engineering function.
