Description
Are you passionate about cloud-native practices and DevOps topics such as platform automation, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and Kubernetes? Then we are looking for you as an experienced Platform Engineer!
About ITQ
ITQ provides tailored solutions for our clients, applying the latest developments in the IT sector to optimize their business processes. Our team consists of passionate professionals dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction. At ITQ, we take pride in our culture—a blend of collaboration, growth, and a strong family feeling.
Your role at ITQ:
As a Platform Engineer at ITQ, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced platforms based on cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes. Your tasks will include setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. You'll stay up to date with the latest cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices, continuously contributing to improvements and optimizations.
Your responsibilities and technologies:
Solid knowledge of Windows and/or Linux system administration.
Some familiarity with infrastructure (Compute, Network, Storage, Cloud Management). Ideally, experience with VMware infrastructure and/or one of the hyperscale cloud infrastructure portfolios (AWS/Azure/GCP), and perhaps automating cloud infrastructure with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Understanding and preferably some hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker. You are either certified or eager to obtain the CKA or CKAD certifications quickly. Maybe you even have a local Kubernetes distribution running on your laptop.
Active involvement in process automation and familiar with at least one scripting language.
Some awareness of the open-source community, especially the CNCF landscape of projects such as Kubernetes itself and those typically associated with k8s, like networking tools for overlay, ingress, and load balancing.
Some experience using Git and understanding the fundamental principles of GitOps.
What we’re looking for:
You have studied computer science, IT specialist, or a similar field.
Preferably, you have some experience in IT in client-facing environments.
You have good social, advisory, and communication skills, and are fluent in both Dutch and English.
What we offer:
Significant room for personal and professional growth.
A competitive salary package, including the option for a company car/mobility budget, a collective bonus, and an annual budget for training and certification.
An office as your home base, but with flexibility for remote work supported by a home office budget.
A chance to be part of the warm and inclusive ITQ family.
