Shipper/Processor - Afternoon Shift

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Shipper/Processor - Afternoon Shift to join our team in Beltsville, MD!

This is an afternoon shift with core hours of 11 am - 7:30 pm, M-F. Overtime may exceed these hours at times.

The hourly rate for this position is 23.50 per hour.

## What you’ll do:

The Shipper / Processor accurately process and ship products using ERP and various carriers and fully capable of accessing and utilizing various customer’s website portals. Stock and pull product from and for the manufacturing lines. Pack them as required by customers. Load and unload trucks and stage the material for use. Ensure we meet delivery commitments to our customers on time. Play a vital role in reporting and escalating issues to the leadership and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving.

In this role, you will:

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner by accessing, interpreting, and utilizing information within ERP systems and customer portals.
• Successfully complete required certification training and obtain authorization to review, certify, and approve orders and Certificates of Conformance (CoC), ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer and quality requirements before releasing it to DSQR or for shipment
• Coordinate and execute outbound shipments through carriers such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, and other transportation providers to ensure on-time customer delivery.
• Prepare products for shipment by packaging and labeling materials in accordance with customer specifications, quality standards, and shipping requirements.
• Provide daily operational updates to leadership, including reporting on past-due orders, On-Time Delivery concerns, expedited requests, and other shipment-related risks & Communicate professionally and effectively through Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and other business communication tools.
• Crosstrain and provide support across multiple logistics functions, including Shipping, Receiving, and various product lines, to meet changing business needs and priorities.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, as required to support business demands and customer commitments.

## Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of shipping and processing experience.

Physical Demands:

• Requires frequent lifting, bending and operation of mechanical equipment with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Must be able to use both hands constantly and work in adverse weather conditions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation.
