In our brand-new, highly automated logistics center in Heerlen, we process e-prescriptions and over 16 million items annually.

As the Outbound Logistics Team Lead, you are the linchpin in this operation. You will build a quality-driven team and ensure that vital medication reaches patients safely and on time.

What you will achieve

• Team Leadership: You onboard, coach, evaluate, and continuously develop your team members.

• Operational Excellence: You maintain a safe, clean, and highly structured work environment in strict compliance with GDP guidelines and 5S standards.

• Performance Management: You steer operations based on qualitative and quantitative KPIs (including delivery times, error rates, and productivity).

• Process Optimisation: You proactively collaborate with management and peer team leads on continuous improvement, resource planning, and job rotation.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s level thinking/working capability (HBO) or demonstrable equivalent experience in logistics.

• A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a logistics environment. Background in pharma or highly regulated industries is a major plus.

• Good communication skills in English, plus a strong command of either Dutch OR German.

• A structured, goal-oriented mindset that thrives even under pressure or in dynamic circumstances.
• Flexibility: You are open to working shifts (including weekends) and participating in job rotation across different areas.
