As part of the Legal Affairs and Compliance team, you’ll work across business functions and help shape how the company manages its legal and product compliance obligations. The role offers a particular opportunity to develop and apply your expertise in consumer protection, personal data protection and the GDPR.

What you’ll be working on

•  Advise business teams and senior leadership on legal matters arising from the company’s operations, offering guidance they can understand and use.

•  Review and draft contracts related to the company’s business and advise on their terms and content.

•  Provide legal support on consumer protection, contracts, employment law, competition law, GDPR.

•  Monitor and support compliance with the GDPR, Croatia’s Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable personal data protection rules.

•  Draft and review data protection documents, including privacy policies, internal policies, processing notices and consent forms.

•  Support the Legal Affairs and Compliance team in keeping the company’s operations and products compliant.

•  Deliver internal competition law trainings and onboarding trainings for new employees.

What you’ll bring to the team

•  A law degree from a university in Croatia (a master’s degree or equivalent, with at least 300 ECTS credits).

•  Three to five years of relevant experience, including advising different business functions and senior leadership within an organisation.

•  Working knowledge and practical experience in consumer protection, contract law, employment law and competition law.

•  Knowledge of personal data protection law and a strong interest in the GDPR and its practical application.

•  The ability to build trust and explain complex legal issues in clear, actionable terms while taking the business context into account.

•  An independent, thorough and responsible approach, with sound judgement, discretion and a collaborative mindset.

•  Excellent spoken and written English, strong MS Office skills and a Category B driving licence.

A Croatian bar examination pass and experience in legal practice or an international corporation would be an advantage.

In your first 6–12 months, you’ll build trusted working relationships with business teams and leadership, deliver reliable advice and contract support independently, and help colleagues apply data protection and competition law requirements in their day-to-day work. Your contribution will be visible in practical guidance, up-to-date privacy documentation and effective employee training.
