Position Summary & Authority
1. Assist QA/QC Asst Manager / Manager in managing & coordinating the Parts First Article Inspection program & activities mainly in measurement ways & methodology establishment.
2. Study & analyze on customer drawings & requirements in the project initial stage to generate measurement standard or guideline to liaise with customers for measurement standardization for part measurement.
3. Act as the measurement technical support advisor & facilitator roles who responsibilities to facilitate and give full guidance, advice & measurement supports to PMM or SMM division pertaining to measurement techniques application.
4. Act as the contact window for customers pertaining to part measurement application, verification & clarification matters.
5. Manage and monitoring of QA/QC Dept assigned QMS and Smart Goals KPIs cascaded by QA/QC or SQE Manager / Asst Manager.
6. As for Asst Engineer, assist Snr Engineer / Engineer (Programer) with assigned tasks stated as above.
7. Reviewer / Approver for QMS documentation, Reject Material Reports (RMR) and assigned Quality Reports.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
1. Assist QA/QC Asst Manager / Manager in managing & coordinating the Parts First Article Inspection program & activities mainly in measurement ways & methodology establishment.
2. Study & analyze on customer drawings & requirements in the project initial stage to generate measurement standard or guideline to liaise with customers for measurement standardization for part measurement.
3. Act as the measurement technical support advisor & facilitator roles who responsibilities to facilitate and give full guidance, advice & measurement supports to PMM or SMM division pertaining to measurement techniques application.
4. Act as the contact window for customers pertaining to part measurement application, verification & clarification matters.
5. Act as the person in-charge to identify any new or additional equipments / instruments or gauges require to purchase during project initial stage before launching of parts First Article activities to assure measurement compliances.
6. Act as Quality Engineering Engineer roles & responsibilities to liaise with NPI Engineers during initial project stage for measurement feasibility study to highlight if there is measurement constraints or difficulties of measurements.
7. Responsible to conduct part measurement review & verification to assure correctness of part measurement application & measurement results before submitting measurement reports to customers.
8. Coordinating & liaise with QA/QC Admin for generating the First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) to assure on measurement results and the reports tabulation compliant to customers' report submission requirements.
9. Responsible to set & standardize the part measurement methodology & application from First Article stage transition to production stage.
10. Responsible to continuous developing, up-grading, train on QA/QC Technicians, Inspectors on measuring skills & knowledges especially GD&T interpretation & measurement application.
11. Shall manage and monitoring of QA/QC Dept assigned QMS and Smart Goals KPIs cascaded by QA/QC Asst Manager / Manager.
12. Shall manage and responsible to coordinate, generate & compile / consolidate of assigned quality reports in monthly basis.
13. Shall lead and manage Continual Quality Improvement Program (CQIP) as continuous QA/QC quality process improvement initiatives.
14. Any other duties that the superior or management may assign from time to time.
