Description
Location: Taguig, Philippines

Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, and other accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

Manage tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance for Philippine operations, including coordination with government agencies, tax filings, regulatory reporting, business permits, and internal and external audits.

Oversee treasury and financial planning activities, including cash flow management, banking transactions, foreign currency requirements, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of the company's financial resources.

Maintain strong financial controls and improve finance processes by ensuring compliance with company policies, strengthening internal controls, identifying operational gaps, and implementing process improvements and automation where appropriate.

Lead and develop the Finance Team while partnering with senior management and key stakeholders to provide financial insights, support business initiatives, and contribute to sound financial and strategic decision-making.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 10 years of relevant Accounting and Finance experience, including 5 years in a leadership or management role.

Strong experience in Philippine tax and regulatory compliance, including BIR and PEZA requirements.

Proven experience in month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, and statutory and external audits.

Hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), payroll, reconciliations, and cash management.

Experience working in a multinational, shared services, or global organization.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required.

Previous experience in the BPO or shared services industry.

Experience overseeing multiple finance and accounting functions within a multinational or global business environment.

Exposure to financial process improvements, automation, and internal control enhancements.

Experience collaborating with regional or global finance teams and senior management.

Financial Accounting & Reporting: Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation, general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes.

Philippine Tax & Regulatory Compliance: In-depth understanding of BIR, PEZA, statutory reporting, and applicable Philippine accounting and regulatory requirements.

Treasury & Financial Planning: Proficiency in cash flow management, banking transactions, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

ERP & Accounting Systems: Experience using accounting software or ERP platforms for financial reporting, transaction processing, and financial management.
