As a Portfolio Analytics and Strategy Analyst Senior within PNC's Enterprise Risk organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA / Charlotte, NC / Cleveland, OH / Raleigh, NC / Birmingham, AL / Houston, TX / Dallas, TX / Chicago, IL.Key Responsibilities & Qualifications include, but not limited to;
Enterprise Data Expertise
• Maintain strong working knowledge of banking data ecosystems, including key systems of record, upstream/downstream data flows, and how data is captured, transformed, and consumed
• Understand relationships across multiple data sources and ensure alignment with business definitions and reporting needs
• Analyze existing applications, code logic, and data pipelines to identify how data is sourced, transformed, and utilized across the organization
• Trace data lineage from source systems through business processes and reporting solutions to document data usage and dependencies
Data Analysis & Technical Skills
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization
• Leverage analytical techniques to explore data, identify trends, and validate outputs across complex datasets
• Working knowledge of Python (or similar language) for automation, data processing, and advanced analytics is a strong plus
• Review and interpret complex queries, stored procedures, views, and ETL processes to determine data sourcing, transformation logic, and business usage
• Ability to deconstruct technical solutions and document data flows, business logic, and system dependencies
Business Engagement & Solution Design
• Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements
• Translate technical findings from code analysis and data discovery efforts into clear business requirements and actionable implementation plans
• Serve as the primary liaison between business teams, data teams, and application development teams to ensure required data elements are successfully integrated into Risk applications
• Lead requirement definition sessions, document functional specifications, and support prioritization of data integration efforts
• Drive onboarding of newly identified data sources into Risk applications and ensure alignment with business and governance requirements
Problem Solving & Ownership
• Independently triage data issues, discrepancies, and system challenges, driving root cause analysis and resolution
• Operate effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong judgment and accountability
• Proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement

Job Description
- Provides financial and regulatory reporting and analyses to maintain adequate controls over the financial and regulatory reporting processes. Responsible for running complex business performance, risk and operational analytics. May include the development of analytical methods/models to assess market, credit and/or operational risk of new and existing financial products.
- Leverages business / product expertise to rigorously analyze large datasets, improve risk adjusted returns, deliver profitable growth, and communicate conclusions. Synthesizes analytical results and develops, recommends, and implements business strategies that improve lending decisions, assist in managing risk, increase revenues, reduce exposure to losses, meet business goals, and improve performance. Establishes baselines for strategies and tracks actual performance to expectations.
- Applies predictive models, third party data, and other tools to develop and execute appropriate segmentation and targeting for acquisition and portfolio strategies to provide insight into portfolio risk. Manages engagements with internal and external information suppliers ensuring solution is fit for purpose while maintaining appropriate governance and oversight.
- Works with business, credit, data, and model development partners to design, develop, and monitor test designs and analytical reporting to track and enhance strategies. Designs / enhances standard reporting suites for regular product / portfolio reviews.
- Collaborates with the line of business, Finance, and Risk partners to assess and establish credit risk appetite and to understand its implications, as well as to establish policies and procedures governing the identification, monitoring, and management of risk appetite.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $86,250.00 – $172,500.00Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.Application Window
