Job Description:
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Weekend work may occasionally be required based on operational needs.
Travel is required.
Overnight may be required depending on business needs and territory support requirements.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for supervising the daily performance of service providers to ensure quality service, improve operational performance, and maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements. The incumbent builds and maintains strong customer relationships, responds to customer concerns, identifies business development opportunities, and fosters a customer-focused work environment.
The successful candidate must possess DOT qualification/certification knowledge and UPS Package Car driving experience in order to effectively support service providers, hourly employees, and operational activities.
This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management
- Manage and work closely with on-road employees to maximize efficiency and ensure packages are delivered safely, timely, and professionally.
- Facilitate the execution of daily dispatch plans.
- Complete on-road supervision activities and audit rides.
- Maintain operational performance by developing and implementing effective work process plans.
- Identify service inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Review operational processes and schedules while monitoring costs against budget goals.
- Apply company policies and procedures to operational situations and business needs.
- Participate in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to maximize center performance and business results.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive health and safety program.
- Conduct risk management reviews and safety compliance audits.
- Maintain employee safety training records and required certifications.
- Apply legal, regulatory, DOT, and company compliance requirements to minimize organizational risk.
- Promote a culture of safety throughout the operation.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
- Employer will not sponsor visas for this position now or in the future.
- Must currently reside within the geographic area of the position or be willing to self-relocate.
- DOT qualification/certification experience required.
- Package Car driving experience required.
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $105.480,00/year to $154.836,00/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
